In 2017, for the 10th year in a row, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will co-host Country Music's Biggest Night, the CMA Awards. The powerhouse duo appeared on Good Morning America on Thursday (Nov. 2) to talk about how they keep it fresh, year after year, and what fans can look forward to at the ceremony on Nov. 8 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

GMA host Robin Roberts asked the co-hosts what they do to prepare for the big night, to which Paisley replied, tongue-in-cheek, "You know, we work out." More seriously, he followed up with some thoughts on the real work that they do before showtime: "We do -- we work really hard on this," Paisley says, with which Underwood agrees.

In the segment, which readers can watch above, both artists reflected on some of the highlights of the last 10 years of co-hosting, including in 2016, which was the 50th anniversary of the CMA Awards and featured some of country music's greatest legends.

In addition to solo performances by many of country's biggest stars, the 2017 CMA Awards show will also feature collaborations and performances by new and emerging artists. However, Paisley says, it's Underwood who will be the real star of the awards ceremony.

"I predict, though, that the highlight of this show is Carrie," Paisley offers, to the delight of the studio audience. Adds Underwood, "But, I will say that, if it is, it has absolutely nothing to do with me." Paisley agrees in jest, before agreeing with Underwood, sincerely, that her "moment" in the show is going to be a very special one.

The 2017 CMA Awards are scheduled to air on ABC at 8PM ET.
