Wisconsin ‘Good Samaritan Law’ For Rescuing Trapped Dogs

With this insane heat lately, remember that keeping your dog sealed up tight inside your vehicle is not smart. Your car heats up super fast with the windows up, and if your pet is inside there...you're a bad person and should be hit over the head with a metal dog bowl.

So what if you are walking through a parking lot and it's one of these 96.7 degree days, and you look over to see a dog trapped inside a car. If you are in the state of Wisconsin, believe it or not there is something dramatic you can do.

Now I would probably look for alternatives before your blood starts boiling and act on your emotions. Maybe start asking around, if the car with trapped dog belongs to anyone nearby.

In the state of Wisconsin, there is something called the "Good Samaritan Law." It goes like this:

If you are in Wisconsin, then you may legally be able to save a domestic animal that is in a motor vehicle. A domestic animal is defined as a dog, cat, or another animal that is kept as a household pet.
