As of late, LOL has been getting creamed for their poor choice in the century-old logo. Now, in celebration of its 100th anniversary, Land O' Lakes announced the company is ditching its logo that features a Native American woman. But, even with this news, people are churning opinions on this change, some supportive and others not so much.

While many agree and celebrate alongside Audra, in typical Twitter fashion, there's a side that disagrees.

Land O' Lakes' press release made no mention of their old Native American logo, but instead said this;

As Land O’Lakes looks toward our 100th anniversary, we’ve recognized we need packaging that reflects the foundation and heart of our company culture—and nothing does that better than our farmer-owners whose milk is used to produce Land O’Lakes’ dairy products.

Personally, butter is butter is butter is butter but if Native Americans feel the use of the likeness of their race is offensive how can that be argued against? There may not be malice behind using logos featuring Native Americans but that doesn't mean there can't be a civilized conversation about the subject. This is what is great about being American, we can talk to each other like adults in an effort to get along and be understanding of one another.
