This is how parenting is done.

WinkNews.com says, "Bryan Thornhill’s Facebook Live video, recorded while driving behind his son, picked up more than 1.6 million views. Thornhill says they joke that the boy will either be fast or obedient, but “so far we’re working on fast.”

Many parents have expressed support for this style of parenting, but many expressed outrage as well. Calling this act of punishment a "public shaming." Guess what? It is! And, that's the point.

Bullying has been a major issue with young people for a while now. Bullies need to be punished. Plain and simple.

If running to school in the rain teaches this kid to treat others better than my hats off to this parent. It's still early but the parents and teachers close to the situation have noticed a change.

If you don't like how Bryan punishes his son he has a message for you.

I've been spanked by everything imaginable and some things that aren't. I didn't turn out to be a murderer but personally, I think this form of punishment resonates better. Keep it up, Bryan!
