Bob’s Discount Furniture is Now Open in Rockford

The former Borders/HHGregg/Choice Furniture space at East State and Perryville in Rockford officially has a new tenant...and they are now officially open for business!

Mystateline.com reports that Bob's Discount Furniture held the ribbon cutting for their first store in Rockford on Thursday, and the ceremony included a housewarming gift of donating $2,500 to both Auburn High School and K-Fact, which helps mentor underprivileged girls in Rockford.

What an awesome thing to do!

Something else that is awesome? Bob's Discount Furniture's Grand Opening Celebration in Rockford continues all weekend through President's Day on Monday.

Besides great furniture deals, this celebration includes fun things for kids like balloon clowns and face painting, plus free treats in their cafe' all weekend long.

Bob's Discount Furniture is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
