Rockford Art Deli Celebrates America’s 250th With Free Cowboy Print

Rockford Art Deli's annual Fourth of July Free Print Day is this Saturday, June 27, and this year's design is perfect for country music and America lovers.

I don't usually drop what I'm doing for free stuff, but if there's one event I make room for on my calendar every time it pops up, it's Free Print Day at Rockford Art Deli.

I'm always down for adding new clothes to my closet and I love Rockford Art Deli designs, so when there's an opportunity to get a new RAD shirt printed for free, I obviously have to take advantage of it!

Rockford Art Deli hosts several Free Print Days throughout the year, but my family never misses the Independence Day and Christmas editions.

4th of July Free Print Day at RAD

Free, local, and something you'll actually wear? That's a combination that's hard to beat, so if you're looking for a fun way to get ready for the Fourth of July, make plans to head to Downtown Rockford tomorrow between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Here's why:

I absolutely love that RAD decided to honor America's 250th birthday with an all-American cowboy design, and I have no doubt that the store will be packed with people scooping up this cool, limited-edition print!

Here are a few important keys to Free Print Day success I've learned throughout the years:

1. If you aren't planning to bring in your own garment to print, get there at 10 a.m. for the best selection of colors and sizes of RAD blanks to purchase.
2. Bring in something you know you'll wear on the 4th...think tank tops and light colors, it's going to be hot!
3. Plan to be waiting in line for a while, and bring multiple people with you. (Free prints are limited to two per person.)
4. The ink is always black, so lighter-colored shirts will make the design stand out the most, and if your garment has pockets or buttons, the print automatically goes on the back.

Another bonus? Tomorrow, June 27, also happens to be Downtown Rockford's Lemonade Hop, so now you have an excuse to turn the trip into a full afternoon of fun downtown.
