Bergner’s In Machesney Park Will be Closing its Doors

The Rockford Area will be losing another large retailer in January .

WIFR-TV is reporting that Bergner's in the Machesney Town Center will not be renewing it's lease in late January 2017. The only stores that currently remain in the once thriving Machesney Park Mall is Big Lots and Burlington Coat Factory

Machesney Park officials just learned about the loss of Bergner's this week, as well. No word on if another retailer will move into the Berger's Machesney Park location.

No word if sore employees will be relocated to other Bergner's stores. No changes were announced for the Cherryvale Mall Bergner's.
