This seems to be pretty serious.

The swirling vortex that is Chicago sport's hell has grown larger and has now sucked Green Bay into its orbit.

One of the worst kept secrets in the NFL is that Aaron Rodgers has been unhappy in Green Bay for a while now. The Packers have only won a single Super Bowl with Rodgers, while he developed into one of the best QBs of all time. The Green Bay organization has not done a very good job supporting Aaron Rodgers on the offensive side of the ball, that much everyone knows. Now there are reports that Rodgers wanted to sign an extension with the club that was denied by the Green Bay front office.

When news broke, thousands went joked that he was going to leave the NFL and go host Jeopardy! after he successfully guest-hosted for two weeks earlier this month with a surprising level of audience approval. Then one of the more respected names in football reporting tweeted out that it might actually happen.

Then more respected accounts started chiming in on what they had heard through the grapevine.

The only thing that's certain right now is that no one really knows what's going to happen, and that includes Rodgers and the Packers. As of last night, apparently, Rodgers was sure he was going to be playing in San Francisco next year and has since been confirmed by, checks notes, Chad OchoCinco Johnson.

Oh, and Tim Tebow is apparently going to try out for the NFL again.

You might not like the NFL all the time, but you HAVE to appreciate the way they can manipulate the media machine. I didn't want to care about the NFL on draft day, but here we are refreshing Twitter like a rat hitting the cheese button. It's embarrassing.
