A Thank You to the Rockford Community From Family of Officer Cox

Say what you want about Rockford, but we definitely know how to come together when times get tough. The support this community has shown for our grieving Rockford Police Department, and the family of Officer Jaimie Cox, has been nothing short of amazing.

Our love, support, and prayers have not gone unnoticed by the family of Officer Cox either, so they decided to publish a beautiful poem as a heartfelt thank you to the Rockford community.

This letter of gratitude was recently published in the Rockford Register Star and shared on the Jaimie Cox Memorial Facebook Page. Yep, it totally made me cry and say another prayer for peace for everyone who knew and loved Jaimie Cox.

To Caitlin and the entire family our Officer Cox I want to say this; our thoughts, prayers, and gratitude will remain with you always. Rockford has your back for whatever you may need.
