300 New Chrysler Jobs Coming to Belvidere

300 more jobs are coming to Belvidere.

You can thank upcoming production of the red hot Jeep Cherokee for the added jobs.

WIFR-TV is reporting that Fiat Chrysler Automobile (FCA) notified workers and the emdia that the Belvidere Assembly Plant will receive an investment of $350 million to produce the Jeep Cherokee. Currently the Jeep Cherokee is produced in Toledo, OH.

The move will take place sometime in 2017.
