With marijuana legalization for recreational use on the ballot in Illinois this November, many are attempting to control a market that could be gone by the end of the year.

Multiple complaints of drug activity came in recently and a search warrant was issued and served at the home in the 500 block of North Front Street, according to the sheriff's office.

According to ABC 7 Chicago, "Detectives then seized 456 grams of marijuana, 46 vials of liquid THC, 40 rounds of .45 caliber ammunition, cocaine residue, multiple digital scales, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia and $1,272 in cash, the sheriff's office said. The street value of the drugs was estimated at $10,040."

Look, no matter what your opinion is on marijuana legalization, stories like this will become a thing of the past IF it is legalized. Yes, of course, there will be hardships as it is implemented and I will be the first to admit it. Once you take the market away from the criminals, prohibition for example, this will become non-existent.

This, of course, is my own opinion and mine alone but honestly, this should be common sense. Unless you are fighting to end the sale of alcohol you should be on board. If not, you're just a hypocrite.
