If you looking for something fun to do with the kids you need to check out this upcoming fall festival.

Here you and the kiddos can bob for apples, take a covered wagon ride and a whole lot more.

Coming Saturday, October 13th, is the 2nd Annual John Deere Historic Site Fall Festival.

From 9 am to 4 pm all are welcome to tour the grounds of John Deere's original homestead. There's over 6 acres to explore.

You and the kids can also see what pioneer life was like, as there will be staff dressed in pioneer-era clothing .

Along with learning about John Deere and the pioneer life you can play all kinds of old fashioned games, decorate pumpkins, bobbing for apples and taking covered wagon rides.

The cool thing is this event is free and open to everyone.

Now free is always a big plus when you have kids or even when you don't.
