World’s Largest Swim Lesson Happens Next Week In Rockford

The World's Largest Swim Lesson (WLSL) returns worldwide on Thursday, including at three locations in Rockford.

The WLSL event serves as a platform to help the global aquatics industry work together to build awareness about the fundamental importance of teaching children to swim to prevent drowning.

The swim lessons for ages three and older are FREE and will take places at three different aquatic centers at three different scheduled times.

• Magic Waters Waterpark 12-12:30 PM
• Alpine Pool 2-2:30 PM
• Harkins Aquatic Center 5:30-6 PM
