A Wisconsin gang's plan of retaliation to another group in Illinois were stopped by police.

Thank God!

ABC7 shares that three Wisconsin men were taken into custody after a traffic stop by police in Antioch on Wednesday.

Upon police examination of the three men in the car when speaking with them, visible signs of cocaine were spotted by the officers.

This prompted them to do a complete search of the vehicle where they found "15 grams of cocaine, 100 pills of Alprazolam, three loaded guns, three [monkey] masks, three heavyweight jackets, and a crowbar."

Upon further investigation it was discovered that the three men, "Thomas Fleckenstein, 27, of Lake Geneva; Jacob Lapenta, 21; of Genoa City; and Davey Shower, 24, of Genoa City" are part of a gang in Wisconsin and were heading "to retaliate against another group, which stemmed from a previous altercation."

I'm so thankful for the Lake County Police for stopping what could have been another tragic event.
