Yesterday the Illinois Senate had three bills they were looking at that dealt with the banning and surrendering of firearms. One of the three bills passed with no revisions. The other two passed but have some things that need to be amended.
The Illinois Senate will be considering several bills to ban and surrender guns in the state this Wednesday, March 14th. It's a good idea that all citizens know exactly what these bills are about and what they want to do.
Protecting our kids in school is a hot topic, regardless of what side of the gun issue you're on. If this Illinois school district gets the green light it could become the first in our state to arm their teachers.
In the aftermath of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida guns, gun control, conceal carry, etc.. have all become hot topics of discussion. Several states including Wisconsin's Attorney General are open to arming their teachers in a preventive step to another school shooting.
