I've had the privilege of going to the Grand Ole Opry on three different occasions. The feeling is truly magical when you enter the building. Here's a great way to get that feeling and experience the Opry right here in the Stateline, while helping St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, this weekend.

I've enjoyed sitting on the stage one special night for my 25th wedding anniversary, thanks to a good friend in Nashville at the time. Therse are the seats along the back "barn" wall that look out into the crowd right behind the band. You really feel like you're performing at the Opry while in those seats and backstage.

That night, Dierks Bentley was featured. I meet the legendary Vince Gill and Little Jimmy Dickens that night too. Little Jimmy was extremely "little", but he enjoyed being called l"little" and cherished it. You feel like you are with Country music royalty when you attend the Grand Ole Opry.

The other time was to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Maddie and Tae, Charlie Daniels and the cast of Nashville was on hand with Brad Paisley. I sat in the stands and again, not bad seat in the house.

Bill Cody, the announcer who helps us out with the Q98.5 Legends of Country, was behind the podium and when he introduces the artists and the fun, you really do get the chills.

The circle, the mic stands, the lights and the sound, it is all magical. A must for any music fan, no matter the type of music, has to experience.

Thanks to Carmike Opry Films, and Carmike Cinemas, you can enjoy the entire experience in a film opening this weekend in DeKalb, Illinois.

Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, Brett Eldredge and more will take you back stage, and Darius Rucker will guide you through the hallways too. The best part is a portion of all ticket sales will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Here's a sample of what you can experience at the Carmike Market Square 10 Theatre in DeKalb December 4 through December 10, 2015 with the Opry Movie.

The only way to top this movie, is to travel to the Orpy once in your lifetime. You will not be disappointed no matter who performs.
