What Are Your Home Buying Must-Haves?

I've only purchased two homes in my life, but when it comes to what I'm looking for a in a future home, my wants are pretty simple:

1. Curb appeal, (or least high potential for creating curb appeal).
2. A good, safe neighborhood with lots of kids.
3. A decent sized yard for my kids and dogs to play in.
4. At least three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
5. Plenty of storage space for all our stuff.

Purchasing a home is a very big deal, and in a competitive buying market it's important to remember not to settle for a home that is just ok. Sure, you may have to compromise on some of your must-haves, but ideally, any home you purchase should work perfectly for your family.
