Tyler Hubbard Spotted at Popular Rockford, IL Restaurant This Week

Tyler Hubbard of former Florida Georgia Line fame was spotted in Rockford, Illinois this week, but the big question is; why was he here?!?

I've been working in the Country music industry for over 20 years, so I like to think that I have a pretty good grasp on Country music happenings in Northern Illinois.

That being said, imagine my surprise to see this post from GreenFire Restaurant pop up on my social media feed this morning...

Say what?!?

First off, I think it's awesome that Tyler Hubbard stopped by to enjoy one of Rockford's beloved restaurants while was here, (I hope he loved it as much as we do!), but I can't help but wonder...what exactly brought him to our fine city?

Why Was Tyler Hubbard in Rockford, IL?

While I would like to think that Tyler Hubbard came to visit Rockford because he has heard so many glowing reviews about the city, I am a realist and know that's most likely not the case.

After seeing that post I was really bummed that I somehow missed a Tyler Hubbard show in Rockford, but it turns out, that isn't what technically happened.

Was Tyler Hubbard in Rockford for a concert? Yes, BUT it wasn't open to the public. He was here for the Greater Rockford Auto Auction's annual GRAA'Lapalooza, which is only open to GRAA customers. Bummer.

In 2023 Locash played Greater Rockford Auto Auction's customer appreciation event, and this year they had Tyler Hubbard?!? Guess I need to start working for a car dealership so I don't have to miss any more fun concerts at GRAA!
