Two Rockford Grocery Stores Will Close For Good This Weekend

Rockford has been losing business in almost an epidemic way and it's not just major chains, either. Rockford has seen Toys R' Us leave with Bergners and the forest city's remain Kmart on it ways out, too. Losing grocery stores though will be bad for the community.

Schnucks will be closing two of it's Rockford stores this week will bring an inconvenience to residents on both the east and west side of town. WREX reports the Schnucks stores on Mulford Road and Rockton Avenue will shut their doors for good on Sunday, July 8.
