All it takes is one bad apple or in this case, one bad snowball. A Wisconsin town has officially banned snowballs from public property.

The folks up in Wausau, Wisconsin have had it with winter projectiles, also known as snowballs. Whatever happened a few years ago with these winter missiles has brought on a public ban. You can do as you please on your property but throwing a snowball on public property could bring a fine.

The ordinance decrees that you can’t throw snowballs anywhere on public property — not on sidewalks, city streets, or at school.

Don't fret too much, local police up there don't recall the last time someone was fined for throwing a snowball.
