The man who has endured so much since 2003 by Cubs fans is being asked one more time to come back to Wrigley.

WLS TV in Chicago is reporting that the Chairman of the MLB team is planning to reach out to the man who endured so much grief after a play back in the 2003 National League Championship Series where he interfered with Moises Alou late in game 6.

Bartman was blamed by many for extending the curse which finally ended this year when the Cubs won the World Series.

Ricketts was interviewed by USA Today after the Series win and he said that the time is now for the Cubs to extend an olive branch to the now secluded Bartman.

"I'm sure we'll reach out to him at the right time. And I'm sure we'll figure something out that provides closure for everybody. Hopefully, we can make it work."

For years, Bartman has escaped the limelight and has been in hiding for years. Even when the Cubs went to the World Series, he wanted nothing to do with it.

Will we see a Bartman sighting next year at Wrigley Field? One can only hope. Do you want to see Steve at a game?
