Target ‘Cat & Jack’ Toddler Boots Recalled Due to Safety Hazard
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled several different boy's and girl's boots over some elastic parts that could break off. Full refunds available.
The recalled toddler boots, available at Target stores are the Cat & Jack 'Himani' and 'Jaren' boots. They have been sold in stores and online for both boys and girls in sizes 5 through 12.
These winter boots have an elastic lace with a toggle, which is meant to be tightened to keep snow out. According to quite a few parents, that piece can break off and present a choking hazard.
While there haven't been any reports of injuries, there have been several complaints, which has led the CPSC to issue the recall.
If you purchased these boots, you can return them to any Target store for a full refund.
