For a few minutes this morning I thought Halloween 2020 had officially been cancelled, and then I checked the facts.

The trend over the weekend was to text your mom (or any mom) and ask how to cook a whole turkey in the microwave and while it went over some mothers' heads, others had brutal responses.

Rockford parents decided to have a little fun with their daughter this morning by recording her reaction when they told her they ate all of her Halloween candy.

Students, if you are looking for a senior prank that will have everyone talking, don't do this. Unless you want to end your senior year in handcuffs instead of a cap and gown, then go for it.

I have never really cared for April Fools' Day. It's not that I don't get a kick out of a well executed prank, but a good prank is hard to come up with. Cruel or destructive pranks are not my thing, but a simple text can be a lot of fun. <Insert evil laugh here>
