I don't think so.
Just a quick survey in our building has shown me that not one of my co-workers would choose hot chocolate as their number one item. I've gotten answers like:
- Turkey
- Prime Rib
- Christmas Cookies
- Peppermint Bark
- Gingerbread Cookies
- Hot Buttered Rum

Here's what Spoon University says our Midwestern neighbors choose as their favorites:
- Wisconsin: Tom and Jerrys
- Minnesota: Christmas Cookies
- Michigan: Sugar Cookies
- Iowa: Pulled Pork and/or Prime Rib Sliders
- Missouri: Fruit Cake
- Kentucky: Venison
- Indiana: French Toast Bake
