Stroll On State organizers have already begun to setup up for Rockford's most anticipated and attended yearly event. Ted O'Donnell (one of the volunteers for Stroll on State) explained why it's necessary to begin the process this far in advance.

Well, we have to. It's hard to drive stakes in the ground if it's frozen. It's hard to work on snow or in 10 degree weather. Or rain.  So we do it early to avoid that.

Ted also said Stroll On State is accepting donations related to decoration necessities like Lights, lumber, and ground stakes. Volunteers for setup, the actual event, and tear down are all needed. Send an email to Ted O'Donnell if you're interested or have any questions.
