There's something icky going on at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.

There's now another report of children coming down ill after visiting the aquarium.

Yikes!

This is serious stuff.

After a reports of over 100 students coming down sick after attending prom at the Shedd Aquarium last weekend.

WGN shares that more children reported similar symptoms of coming down ill after having a field trip at the Shedd Aquarium.

"The Archdiocese confirmed 15 kindergartners got sick after visiting the Shedd Aquarium on April 17."

That was two weeks before the prom, yet those children suffered from the same flu-like symptoms.

Hmmm?? Is there a correlation between the two incidents?

I was thinking food poisoning, but according to one of the parents who chaperoned the field trip "none of our kids ate at the Shedd. They all had bag lunches."

Wow! That's really weird. What is causing this then?

"A spokesperson for the Shedd said they did not believe there were any safety concerns related to food or drink being served to guests."

So what is causing this?

Both the city and county health departments are actively investigating this to find the answers.

For now, if you're planning a trip to the Shedd I'd suggest washing your hands, trying not to touch anything and use antibacterial hand soap.

Eww... this is just gross.
