Last year the exciting news came out that Six Flags and Magic Waters were combining forces. The leasing agreement will officially begin on April 1, 2019. It will allow the largest regional theme park company in the world (Six Flags) and the largest waterpark operator in North America (Magic Waters) to bring its awesome brand to Rockford.

Now that the partnership is official, employees are needed! According to WREX -

Six Flags is looking to add 400 employees to Magic Waters.

In a press release, Six Flags says opportunities range from entry-level to leadership positions. Seasonal positions start at $9 per hour or above. Positions are available in a variety of departments including Aquatics, Culinary Services, Maintenance, Guest Services and more.

There really is no better time to work for Six Flags Magic Waters than this Summer. With it being so new, the place will be packed daily. So it makes sense that they'll need more employees. So how do you apply? WREX details -

Candidates are encouraged to apply online at sixflagsjobs.com prior to arriving; however, walk-ins are
welcome. Here’s a list of hiring events:

  • March 3rd at the Tebala Event Center on Newburg Rd. from 11 a.m-3 p.m.
  • The second hiring event is Saturday, March 23 at Giovanni’s Restaurant & Convention Center from 11 a.m-3 p.m.
  • A third event will be Saturday March 30, at the Tebala Event Center from 11 a.m-3 p.m.

Now all we need is some sunshine and warmer temperatures. Hopefully Summer gets here soon so we can experience the greatness that's going to be Six Flags Magic Waters.
