Send Pizzas to National Guard Troops Stationed at US Capitol

The one thing I will NEVER discuss is politics, but I will say this; I'm nervous about what the next week will be like in our country.

Thousands of National Guard Troops from all over the nation are currently stationed at the Capitol in Washington D.C. ahead of next week's Inauguration, and it can't be an easy job for them to do. If you've been looking for a way to support our troops during these trying times, this is an awesome way to do it...

Before I will tell you what one pizza joint in Washington D.C. is offering to support our troops, I must say that I am not sure what I love more, what they are doing OR the name of the pizza place... It's called We, The Pizza. (How perfect is that?!?!)

We, The Pizza's website says;

Help feed the National Guard Troops in DC protecting our Democracy. These pizzas will be delivered to the National Guard at the Capitol Building. "We are in this together" has been the motto of We, The Pizza for the past 10 years. We are a community and will be working with other restaurants in the area to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner so the troops have a variety. Buffalo & Bergen, CHIKO, District Doughnuts, The Duck and The Peach, Maketto, Pizzeria Paradiso and RIS. We will be matching every pie that is donated.

Technically you are donating money to cover the cost of a pizza, but it is so simple to do. All you have to do is go to We, The Pizza's website , scroll down a little bit and you will see a "Feed the Troops in D.C." option. Click that link and then you will be able to choose which donation you would like to make.
