Ronald McDonald Put on Low Profile

One of world's most known and happy clowns, Ronald McDonald, has been been put into a low profile status because of creepy clowns.

ABC7 reports that the McDonald's Corp. said that they are being "thoughtful in respect to Ronald McDonald's participation in community events" as a result of the "current climate around clown sightings in communities."

Poor Ronald all he wants to do is spread cheer to the world and now thanks to the creepy clowns he has to be careful.

At this time the company hasn't said what this means for their fast food mascot's future  or what changes they will make when he is to make public appearances.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of clowns scary or otherwise, I just don't like them. However, it is really sad that because of these weirdos and wannabe bandwagon jumpers of creepy clowns that stuff like this happening. Whether it's Ronald McDonald, Bozo, or anyone who dresses as a clown professionally for entertainment purposes this is just hurting their livelihood let alone terrifying children.

It really is a sad day when things, like clowns, that were once looked on as bringing happiness and fun into lives have now turned into something dark and evil and a thing that should be feared.
