Rockford’s Overnight Café Returns To Help Those Without a Home

This cafe offers a warm place to get something to eat, clean and warm clothing, a shower and even laundry facilities.

The Overnight Café is now open inside SecondFirst Church at 318 N. Church Street
Rockford. Unhoused guests can spend the night playing cards, watching movies and spend time talking with others. In the morning, guests of The Overnight Café, have a chance to learn more about available services.

The café will be open from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am, every night through March 1, 2020.

Please be sure to share this information where you think it will help.

If you're interested in volunteering at the café, they need volunteers to work from 9:00 pm until 12:00 am, or 4:00 am until 7:00 am. Pick your own days you would like to work. They could also use volunteers to help make soup or sandwiches.
