How Did We Miss The Opening of Church's Texas Chicken?

I'd been hearing rumors for weeks that Church's Texas Chicken would be opening soon in Machesney park, but  had a hard time finding an exact opening date.

Church's website had the Machesney Park location listed as "coming soon" for what seemed like forever, but then this morning I checked it again and saw this...

The new Church's Texas Chicken in Machesney Park makes the 18th location in Illinois, but the very first for the Stateline area, so what should we try first?!?

What Is Church's Texas Chicken Most Well Known For?

Church's slogan is "Welcome to the Great State of Flavor", and everything they do is to honor the founder of the franchise, George W. Church, and the state of Texas where it started. Church's website says;

We’re pioneers of timeless flavor. We aren’t afraid of doing things differently because we do things right. That’s what Texas Taste is all about: Striving for something bolder and a lot more delicious in a world full of sameness.

Obviously, Church's is all about chicken, but their menu offers fish and shrimp too. If you've been missing picking up a big bucket of fried chicken and sides for dinner after work, guess what? Church's has got you covered!
