What the heck is going on with Rockford School District bus #627? Cough Cough!

Traveling northbound on Mulford Rd behind a Rockford School District #205 school bus was a rather uncomfortable, and stinky experience for some Rockford travelers on Wednesday afternoon. Yes, apparently bus number #627 has an exhaust issue.

The term "rolling coal" is the practice of modifying a diesel engine to increase the amount of fuel entering the engine in order to emit large amounts of black or grey sooty exhaust fumes into the air. Usually you see this on hopped up diesel trucks, but rarely on school  buses.

Now, we're NOT saying this is the case with Rockford school bus #627, but sure looks (and smells) similar. Nevertheless, some mechanical work needs to be done to correct this issue.
