Rockford Reacts to News of Popular New BBQ Chain Restaurant Coming
The people of Rockford took to social media this week to air their feelings about another new chain restaurant development coming to crowded E. State Street.
Rockford Facebook users were all over the place with their comments about a new BBQ joint coming to Rockford in 2022.
Earlier this week, we got the news that a plot of prime real estate on E. State Street in Rockford was going to be re-developed into three NEW businesses.
The site of the new project is the old Rockford Realtors building in the 6700 block of E. State Street. Core Acquisitions is creating two different lots.
On Lot 1, they are constructing a 3 bay Valvoline Instant Oil Change. On Lot 2, the eastern lot, they are constructing a two-tenant 6,000 square-foot restaurant building.
The restaurant space will be filled by Five Guys Burgers & Fries, the other space will be the new BBQ joint, Mission BBQ.
