Rockford Police Make Several Prostitution-Related Arrests

Rockford Police arrested eight people, many of them for charges connected to prostitution, after an undercover operation on Sunday.

According to police, the effort focused on street level nuisance crimes.

Arrested for prostitution were Jennifer M. Brown, 33, of Rockford and Tara Short, 37, of Rockford.

Arrested for soliciting a prostitute were Ronald Aumann, 46, of Rockford; Willjohn Rhynes, 39, of Rockford; Douglas G. Werle, 50, of Rockford and Dominique Richardson, 35, of Rockford.

Cuauhtemoc Cortes-Perez, 22, of Rockford was charged with soliciting a prostitute, having no valid driver's license, having a fictitious or unlawfully altered identification card and obstructing justice.

Sheila L. Foerster, 46, of Rockford was charged with a violation of the controlled substance act.
