If you've got bored kids at home, and from the look of things, you do, this might be something to consider.

The Rockford Park District announced yesterday an in-person NFL Flag Football Camp.

Did you notice that? In-person. Not virtual.

Anyway, the camp is for kids aged 5-14 of all skill levels.

The camp will be held at the Clarence Hicks Memorial Sports Park on Saturdays starting next week June 20, through July 18, skipping the 4th of July.

Whether you have never played football before or are an advanced player, we know how to make you a better football player, while still making each practice fun!  The instruction will intensify in all phases of the game each session.

In case you're wondering, and I'm sure you are, social distancing and small groups among other safety guidelines will be followed throughout the camp.

The Rockford Park District is also saying participants will be asked to wear some form of face-covering when social distancing can't be maintained.

The NFL Flag Football Camp is $30 per person and you have to register by June 18 at leagues.rockfordparkdistrict.org.
