I was told that Rockford iPhone users won't date those who use Android phones.

Woah! What? Wait a minute? Really? The type of phone you have matters?

I had a conversation with JB Love the other day about being single.

He asked me what kind of phone I had.

I said a "Galaxy S7."

He said, "Well that's why. You have an android. It's the K-Mart of smartphones."

I couldn't believe it. Does what kind of phone really make a difference in who you date?

I really wanted this to be not true. I just couldn't believe your phone would make a difference.

Market Watch states "iPhone owners are 21 times more likely to judge others negatively for having an Android, while those who have an Android are 15 times more likely to judge others negatively for having an iPhone. And those who have older models of either smartphone are 56% less likely to get a date."

Oh No... that's not good. Come on though that's just one article right?

Well unfortunately I dug up another from Digital Trends that said "a recent survey of more than 5,500 American singles aged 18 and over conducted by dating site Match.com, Apple users are particularly picky when it comes to finding their mates, especially if that potential mate is swiping on an Android device."

Honestly, there are several more articles to pile on to these two I just shared.

Yikes! You mean my phone really is holding me back in finding a good guy.

I choose to see it that although iPhone users are picky, maybe even on the slight snobby side, for dating. Android users are more accepting of others regardless of their phones.

Who's with me on this? Anyone???

Ok, so maybe I need to contact Sprint and upgrade to an iPhone. Sigh!
