A Rockford citizen is upset over Rockford Mass Transit District's "lack of respect" to fallen officer Jaimie Cox's funeral procession on Saturday.

Rockford citizen Kathy Foster-Ignatchuk took to RMTD's Facebook page to let them know how dismayed she was over the bus that didn't pull over as Officer Cox's funeral procession, with police escort, drove somberly down East State Street on Saturday.

In Kathy's own words, this is what she posted on Rockford Mass Transit District Facebook page, as well as her own, this past Saturday November 11, 2017.

The video can be found on YouTube as well posted by RockfordScanner.com.

At this time we haven't saw any response, at least on facebook, from RMTD to Ms. Foster-Ignatchuk.

Honestly when I saw the video my mouth dropped open. The bus was moving quickly down State Street and didn't even attempt to pull into the right lane, or slow down. I always thought that all traffic was supposed to pull over to the right when a funeral procession passed. Am I wrong?

So what do you think about this? Is this a sign of disrespect? Should RMTD apologize to the Cox family and Rockford Police Department?
