I made the most tasty appetizer for my family's Thanksgiving meal.

Pumpkin Pie Dip.This dip is so light and fluffy and I'd say it was a hit. My nieces and nephews scarfed it down. The best part is that it's low fat and low calorie, but you would never know it.

If your looking for something sweet yet healthy for your next holiday party you should consider taking this dip. It's great before the meal or for snacking afterward.

It goes great with apples, I used honey crisp, and graham crackers.

I will warn you it makes a big batch.  You might, depending on the size of your party, want to cut the recipe in half.

  • 15 oz can pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (Splenda would work too)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or more to taste)
  • 6 oz fat free Greek yogurt (I used Chiobani)
  • 8 oz cool whip free
  • cut up apples to dip (extra points)

Mix pumpkin with brown sugar, vanilla and spices, blend well. Mix in yogurt. Fold in cool whip and chill in refrigerator until ready to eat.
