
J.B. Pritzker Responds as Bears Move Toward Indiana
With it seeming like the Chicago Bears' move to Indiana is imminent, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker issued a statement on the matter.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker Responds to Chicago Bears Indiana Move
Pritzker acknowledged Indiana's congressional delegation for working to move the Bears from Soldier Field to Indiana.
While the Bears are referring to the proposal as "the most meaningful step forward," Pritzker said he was "very disappointed" after hearing the news.

Pritzker said progress had been made with Bears leadership on a plan to build in Arlington Heights, adding, "To hear they would release that statement without mentioning advances made in Illinois is disappointing."
Sounds to me like some sour grapes. I'm a lifelong Bears fan, and this has got to be one of the all-time biggest bag fumbles by the state that I have ever seen.

You do realize that when you let the Bears walk out of your state, the money that tourism brings into Chicago and then through Illinois is going out with them?
Obviously, everyone involved must know this, but it’s ridiculous for state officials to claim sadness when the Bears won’t credit a weak attempt to keep them in Illinois.
