If you were planning on going to Prairie Street tonight, you might want to find a new place for drinks, they will not be open.

In a post on Facebook earlier today, Prairie Street let customers know that they will not be open today because of health concerns.

The post addresses the fact that one of their staff members has tested positive for the Coronavirus and that they are following the Winnebago County Health Department protocol to clean and disinfect before reopening, which they plan to do tomorrow.

They will still be participating in today's Rockford City Market and other offsite events, according to Facebook.

While this might be the first big restaurant in the Stateline to close for a day due to contamination, the likelihood that other restaurants will need to do this in the future is very possible.
