Potential Salmonella Risk Causes Boxed Cake Mix Recall
DIY cake makers and bakers may want to check their cupboards for this brand as millions of boxes of cake mix are voluntarily recalled.
After consumer complaints of getting ill after eating Duncan Hines cakes mix, an FDA and CDC investigation led to the discovery of traces of salmonella. "Some may have consumed these products raw and not baked," says the FBA in a statement to usatoday.com.
