Pizza Hut Announces $5 Value Menu! here’s What’s on it!

Mmmmm....good. Just revealed the five dollar Pizza Hut menu.

I can hear the jingle now.....…. 5 dollar… footlong Pizza Hut pizza. Sorry, wrong restaurant.

Little Ceasar’s has offfered $5.00 pizzas for years, so it was only a matter of time before Pizza Hut picked up on the trend.

It's official Pizza Hut just started it's $5 Menu today!

The Street reports that there will be seven items on the value menu, including:

• medium one topping pizzas
• 8 boneless wings
• pasta
• double order of bread sticks or flavor sticks
• a chocolate chip cookie pizza

Ahhh, but there is a catch. You have to order two or more items from the menu and there is an extra charge for pan pizza.

The five-dollar menu comes on the heels of Pizza Hut's re-commitment to value showing signs of gaining traction in what has been an ultra-competitive fast food pizza market. Late last year, the company launched the "Anytime Deal" (two medium pizzas for $6.99 each), and the "Triple Treat Box" (two medium one-topping pizzas, an order of breadsticks and a Hershey's ultimate chocolate chip cookie, all for $19.99.

Pizza Hut is hoping that variety will help customers build a “complete meal” and brings them in to their restaurant instead of the competitions.
