Brock Osweiler will start at quarterback for the Denver Broncos this week when the Denver Broncos come to Chicago to battle the Bears. Here's why.

Denver quarterback Brock Osweiler will start at quarterback for Denver instead of Peyton Manning because Peyton is dealing with a partially torn plantar fascia.

Although he set the NFL record for career passing yards, Manning was 5-of-20 for just 35 yards and four interceptions when he was removed from the game. He was sacked twice, and he fumbled.

As a Chicago Bears fan, you have to think that the Bears may have caught the biggest break of the season yet with the quarterback shuffle in Denver.

According to ESPN, "Manning has battled plantar fasciitis for weeks but is believed to have aggravated the injury against Indianapolis on Nov. 8, resulting in a partial tear of his plantar fascia. Almost always, a partial tear is more painful to play with than a complete tear".

Manning will not practice this week. He'll receive treatment and will be re-evaluated next Monday.

With the Broncos playing the Bears this week, Manning will miss out on playing against his former coach John Fox, who his now the coach in Chicago.
