About a week ago on April 18, a Facebook post was made showing a rather large pile of dirty snow that almost looked like a glacier that's sitting next to a parking garage.

Raymond Jorda has been documenting the snow pile located in Palatine, Illinois since April 16. According to the comments on Facebook, the snow is located next to a parking garage in just the perfect spot so it doesn't get sunlight.

One fan of the Palentine snow pile even shared a poem about the oddity.

While all around it melted and transformed, the snow pile stood tall, a silent sentinel against the passage of time.
