One of America’s Best Small Towns for a Weekend Getaway is in Wisconsin
You've handed out all the candy, ate some (or most of it) and now you need to unwind.
That's because after Halloween is officially wrapped up we're staring straight into the holidays.
You could probably use a good long weekend to relax, right?
Lucky for us in Illinois and Wisconsin, there's a place that was just featured as one of the best small towns in America for a weekend getaway.
Travel Curator's 10 Small Towns in the US for Your Weekend Getaway features cities in states like Texas, New York, Arizona, and even Hawaii.
At the end of the list though, is Kohler, Wisconsin. Yep, it's the town that is known worldwide for its kitchen and bath products.
Apparently, Kohler is also a great spot for a weekend getaway too.
About an hour from Milwaukee, this suburb of Sheboygan was one of the nation’s first planned communities...with the help of Central Park landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, the 4.5 square-mile village has plenty of green space, three churches, shops, walking trails, and the giant Kohler Design Center.
If you're on the fence about making the trek to Kohler for a weekend getaway this might just put it over the top, especially if you like a day at the spa.
