The RACVB says there will be a special New Year’s Eve River Lights show. Here's more.

According to WIFR TV-23, "The 120 LED light show is choreographed and set to music along the east and west banks of the Rock River between the State and Jefferson Street bridges".

Performances of course are free and open to the public. The lights will stay up all year long, but this is the last weekend of the year for the music and full show.

Check it all out this Wednesday evening at 5:30 and 6:30 and New Year’s Eve from 5:30 p.m. until midnight. The light show will also take place Friday and Saturday evenings with shows at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30.

No longer can you say there is nothing to do in Rockford.
