New Drive-thru Dinosaur Park Will Be 90 minutes from Rockford

A roaring good time is coming for two weekends later this month, and it's a short drive from Rockford. It's called Dinosaur Adventure and it looks AWESOME.

Spend a day with the dinosaurs. Over 100 dinosaurs on display along with activities and live entertainment for the whole family. A fun educational day for everyone.

Although the description says "over 100 dinosaurs", the drive-thru event is actually less, at 80 life-sized dinosaurs. This includes a 40-foot tall T-Rex, 30-foot tall Brachiosaurus, a triceratops, a Velociraptor, and more. This will take place at DuPage County Fairgrounds on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and will only be a drive-thru attraction.

If you're wondering how the heck they transport 30 and 40-foot realistic dinosaurs you're not alone, I was wondering the same.

They use a truck, duh.

Tickets are between $50 and $70 (depending on your time slot) and include the following:

Each ticket is good for Good for 1 vehicle Passenger Car, Mini Van, Pickup Truck up to 8 People. No large vehicles allowed.
