‘My Three Pups’ Pet Food Pantry In Rockford Announces Opening Day

The pandemic has brought the very best and unfortunately the very worst out of people.

There are times though when the good shines so brightly you can't help but share the news.

I mean, I'm not even a pet owner and I'm totally impressed with the efforts of these people.

When you think about the struggles we've faced not only in America but in general, Rockford, there have been plenty of people who have stepped up to offer help to feed families in need.

Again, not a pet owner, so I never thought that our pets need to eat too.

So when I was notified of "Because they all deserve to live" on Facebook, I was pleasantly surprised but at the same, I thought "that's a neat idea."

Opening date for our pet food pantry, "My Three Pups", is Aug. 4, 3-5 pm, 910 2nd Ave. in Rkfd., Suite 50!

If you are in need of pet supplies, such as dog food, there are some rules you should know before just showing up.

Obviously, social distancing guidelines are in effect (mask up), bring an ID, proof of address, and your pet's vaccination records.

The distribution will be every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and there are limits to the amount of pet food that will be doled out by the fine folks at "My Three Pups."
