McUpgrades Coming To More McDonald’s In The Rockford Area

Get ready for McUgrades at just about every McDonald's in the Mcland of McLincoln. (Ok, enough of the Mc-jokes.)

The suit and ties at McDonald's corporate announced made a big announcement this week to the tune of $317 million. The upgrades will "modernize Illinois restaurants" and included fancy new items (like the above photo from a Rochelle McDonald's). We've already seen new dining room decor, remodeled counter, and parking spot/sign changes and soon we'll see digital self-order kiosks and menu boards.

According to mystateline.com, McDonald's says "most" restaurants will be fully upgraded by 2020.
