It is a total understatement to say that the recreational marijuana business in Illinois is booming since it became legal on January 1st.

Sunnyside Dispensary in Rockford has been swarmed with recreational marijuana use customers since the start of the year, and starting tomorrow, they will finally get some relief.

According to mystateline.com, Mapleglen Care Center on Stenstrom Road in Rockford will begin selling to recreational marijuana users at Noon on Friday (2/7), instead of limiting their services strictly to medical card holders.

Amy Manganelli, owner of Mapleglen Care Center told mystateline.com;

Medical customers will always be the priority,” she said. “If I can’t provide the same or better for the medical patient, I won’t provide it for the recreational user.

Mapleglen Care Center is located at 4777 Stenstrom Road in Rockford and is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Online ordering is available at mapleglencc.com, but that service may not be available to recreational users yet on Friday.
